Tofel Dent Construction Hosts Donation Drive for Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse
Tofel Dent Construction hosted a donation drive for Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse from March 18–31 at our Tucson location. The Spring Donation Drive focused on collecting shelf-stable supplies to support the mission of Emerge and the families it serves.
Donations were gathered based on Emerge’s “Most Needed” Urgent Items Wish List, available on their website, to ensure that contributions met the shelter’s highest-priority needs.
Established in 1975, Emerge works to support survivors of domestic abuse through a variety of services, including emergency shelter, safety planning, domestic violence education, and addressing the root causes of abuse. Emerge empowers individuals to create, sustain, and celebrate lives free from abuse.
The Tofel Dent team collected more than 165 items, including school supplies, infant care items, toiletries, diapers, and household cleaning products. Donations were delivered to Emerge staff on Tuesday, April 1 — Arizona Gives Day.
“We are beyond grateful for support from Tofel Dent Construction. Not only did they deliver a beautiful new trauma-informed domestic violence shelter facility—early and on budget—they also demonstrated true partnership throughout the process,” said Anna Harper, Emerge CEO. “With this most-recent supply drive, Tofel Dent has shown an enduring commitment to supporting survivors and prioritizing their safety and well-being. Thank you!”
