Tofel Dent Construction may be known as a commercial general contractor but our roots are in multi-family construction. We have built over 125 projects and more than 12,000 apartments. Our emphasis is always on quality and creating apartments that maintain their value and desirability over time. Our experience includes the following:
- Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) – approximately 25% of the LIHTC projects in both Arizona and New Mexico over the last 5 years
- Senior Housing – both independent and assisted living complexes
- Market-rate / Luxury – market-rate projects as large as 324 units and up to 7 stories
- HUD Financed – over 35 HUD-financed projects including 221(d)4, 811, and 202
- Project Rehabilitation – approximately 30% of our annual volume, anything from minor energy improvements to major historic restorations
- Affordable – financed through LIHTC, Rural Development, HOME Funds, HUD 202, Hope 6, and RAD funding
- LEED / Green Building – LEED certified, Energy Star rated, and Enterprise Green Communities rated projects
- Condominiums and Townhomes – for sale properties, typically having the highest level of finishes and providing unique challenges
